As of 2026-09-02, balancetransfercalculator.com has no affiliate relationships, no partnerships with any card issuer or lender, and no advertising of any kind. No link on this site earns money. No card is mentioned because someone paid for it to be mentioned. Nobody is compensated for what the calculator concludes.

That is the plain and complete position today. Everything below describes rules that would take effect only if the site ever starts earning from offers, and this page would be updated on the day that happened.

If that ever changes

The site may in future earn a commission when someone applies for a card through a link here. If it does, all of the following apply without exception.

• Disclosure sits above the offer. The words "Advertiser disclosure" appear above the first paid offer or apply link on the page, visible on a phone screen before the offer itself. Not in the footer, not behind a link at the bottom, not only on this page.
• Paid links are marked in the code. Every compensated link carries rel="sponsored", alongside nofollow, so it is identifiable as paid to search engines and to anyone reading the page source.
• No offers against a negative verdict. When the calculator concludes a transfer is not worth it for the numbers entered, no offer is shown on that result. A tool that says "do not do this" and then sells the thing is not a tool.
• Offers sit below the results. The answer comes first, computed from the terms the user entered. Offers, if any, appear afterwards and are clearly separated from the calculation.
• Ranking criteria are published. If cards are ever listed in an order, the criteria setting that order are written out on the page, and any compensation that affects placement is stated there.
• Compensation never touches the arithmetic. The calculation engine works from the numbers entered. No commercial arrangement can alter a formula, a default, a break-even point or a verdict. That is the one commitment on this page that has no exceptions.
• Not every card, and not reviewed by issuers. Any offers shown would be a subset of what is available in the market, and their presence is not an endorsement. Card details gathered without an issuer relationship are collected independently and have not been reviewed or provided by the issuer.

Terms apply, rates and fees

Card terms change, and they vary by applicant. If offers ever appear here, each one carries "Terms apply" and, where the issuer requires it, a "Rates and fees" link to the issuer's own current pricing and terms. Any promotional rate is labelled as an intro rate, with the promotional length, the rate that applies afterwards, and the transfer fee shown in the same place and at the same size, never in a footnote.

Terms shown on any site can go stale between the day they are read and the day they are read again. The issuer's own application page is always the authority. Approval, the credit limit granted, the actual APR and the amount that can be transferred are decided by the issuer.

What will never appear

No claim of pre-approval, guaranteed approval or instant approval. No approval-odds percentage. No unqualified claim that a card is the best. No "best cards" ranking whose order is bought.
