This offer allows you to earn 100,000 Hilton Honors bonus points if you spend a minimum of $1,000 with your American Express Hilton Honors Card on eligible purchases during the first three months your new card is open.

To earn or keep this bonus, you will also have to keep the American Express Hilton Honors Card open for at least a year. With no annual fee, this shouldn't be a problem. The American Express Hilton Honors Card is a credit card that makes it easy to get not only base and bonus Hilton Reward points but also Gold status within the Hilton Rewards program. All points earned with this card are only able to be redeemed through this program and the redemption rate per point is about .05 cents. With most points being worth 1 cent or more in other rewards programs, this may seem low. However, with 5 to 7 points earned in many categories, the number of points makes up for the low per-point value. In addition to the rewards program, this card requires a relatively high credit score and blemish-free credit report for approval, as is expected with an AMEX credit card product. Credit limits, fees, and APR aren't particularly high or low. All-in-all, this is a card that will get you a lot if you stay at many Hilton establishments per year or have several extended stays per year.
